The Donnell-Kay Foundation is a private family foundation incorporated in 1965 through a trust by the Kay family. Today, our office is located in the historic Equitable Building on the corner of 17th & Stout in downtown Denver.
DK operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and invests $1 million annually in people, projects, and programs. If you are seeking grant funding, please invite us to a conversation about your work or share a concept paper.
From time to time, DK supports a paid fellowship program for smart, passionate, and forward-thinking individuals committed to our mission. We seek emerging leaders who will actively contribute to our team and the education community. Fellows spend their time immersing themselves in Colorado’s education system and pursuing a particular project of interest, with the goal of developing their ability to think and advocate creatively.
