For over 20 years Tony has had the incredible opportunity to work at the Foundation.  In that time he has pushed for innovation across a wide range of sectors, from traditional K-12 education and early education to policy improvements in food access, out-of-school learning, affordable housing, and a wide range of issue areas.  Tony is the visionary behind RESCHOOL, a multi-year initiative launched in 2013 and now an independent non-profit.

He spends much of his time engaging a variety of people in this vision and making the case for bold changes in system design.  He explores creative approaches to governance, philanthropy, finance, and accountability, and frequently participates in national conversations on these topics. Tony helps his staff and others in the community move beyond traditional paradigms and advocates tirelessly for a learner-centered approach to education change and a community-first approach to problem-solving.

Tony serves on several non-profit boards, enjoys his time out of doors and traveling the world, and loves to be at home in his garden and with his family and animals.
