Our Work

Improving K-12 Education

DK Foundation’s current approach to improving K-12 education is primarily focused on fostering an ecosystem of innovative learning.  From independent microschools to district-led learner-centered spaces, we seek to explore ways in which Colorado’s learning environments are pushing the mold on the traditional education system.  We also continue to support school facilities needs through the BEST program and help districts find creative solutions for closed school buildings.   Our time and grant making in these areas is directed towards systems-level change for K-12 education.
