Founded officially in March 2017, the Mastery Transcript Consortium (MTC) is a collective of high schools organized around the development and dissemination of an alternative model of assessment, crediting and transcript generation. This model calls for students to demonstrate mastery of skills, knowledge, mindsets, and habits by presenting evidence of their learning that is then assessed against an institutionally specific definition of mastery for each Mastery Credit offered by the school.

Join MTC's Patricia Russell for a Hot Lunch presentation and discussion on the origins and progress of the Mastery Transcript Consortium.

About the speaker:

Patricia Russell brings significant experience and talents to the MTC including from her long tenure at Phillips Academy in Andover, MA. She is a veteran science teacher, science division head, residential dean, and most recently, dean of studies at Andover.
