This Week @DonnellKay

Donnell-Kay’s Amy Anderson headed to Breckenridge this week for the annual Colorado Association of School Executives Convention, where she helped a couple of the state’s blended learning experts talk about their craft. One of those presenters was Judy Bauernschmidt from Jefferson County, who also spoke at the DKF Blended Learning Summit this Spring.

And we’re gearing up for the start of the busy season, aka fall, when Hot Lunch and What Matters & What Counts in Education start up again.

If you follow the foundation, you likely know Rick Hess is our first Hot Lunch speaker.

I’m happy to announce our first What Matters speaker too. Katie Salen is a fascinating game designer, who helped found Quest to Learn, a school in New York. She will join us for breakfast on September 27, at our new location for the series, the Denver Botanic Gardens. What is “What Matters?” – click here.
